“So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, both good and bad, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.' But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. 'Friend,' he asked, 'how did you get in here without wedding clothes?' The man was speechless."Then the king told the attendants,'Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.''For many are invited, but few are chosen.'” (NIV)
“종들이 길에 나가 악한 자나 선한 자나 만나는 대로 모두 데려오니 혼인 잔치에 손님들이 가득한지라 임금이 손님들을 보러 들어올새 거기서 예복을 입지 않은 한 사람을 보고 이르되 친구여 어찌하여 예복을 입지 않고 여기 들어왔느냐 하니 그가 아무 말도 못하거늘 임금이 사환들에게 말하되 그 손발을 묶어 바깥 어두운 데에 내던지라 거기서 슬피 울며 이를 갈게 되리라 하니라 청함을 받은 자는 많되 택함을 입은 자는 적으니라” (개역개정)
So the servants went out into the streets: 종들이 길에 나가
and gathered all the people they could find both good and bad: 악한 자나 선한 자나 만나는 대로 모두 데려오니
and the wedding hall was filled with guests: 혼인 잔치에 손님들이 가득한지라
But when the king came in to see the guests: 임금이 손님들을 보러 들어올새
he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes: 거기서 예복을 입지 않은 한 사람을 보고 이르되
'Friend,' he asked, 'how did you get in here without wedding clothes?':친구여 어찌하여 예복을 입지 않고 여기 들어왔느냐 하니
The man was speechless: 그가 아무 말도 못하거늘
Then the king told the attendants: 임금이 사환들에게 말하되
Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside into the darkness: 그 손발을 묶어 바깥 어두운 데에 내던지라
where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth: 거기서 슬피 울며 이를 갈게 되리라 하니라
