“As evening approached, the disciples came to him and said, ’This is a remote place, and it's already getting late. Send the crowds away, so thay can go to the villages and buy themselves some food'. Jesus replied, 'they do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.' 'We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish'. They answered. 'Bring them here to me.' he said. And he directed the people to sit down on the glass. Talking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples and disciples gave them to the people. They all ate and were very satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.” (NIV)
“저녁이 되매 제자들이 나아와 이르되 이곳은 빈 들이요 때도 이미 저물었으니 무리를 보내어 마을에 들어가 먹을 것을 사 먹게 하소서. 예수께서 이르시되 갈 것 없다 너희가 먹을 것을 주라 제자들이 이르되 여기 우리에게 있는 것은 떡 다섯 개와 물고기 두 마리 뿐이니이다 이르시되 그것을 내게 가져오라 하시고 무리를 명하여 잔디 위에 앉히시고 떡 다섯 개와 물고기 두 마리를 가지사 하늘을 우러러 축사하시고 떡을 떼어 제자들에게 주시매 제자들이 무리에게 주니 다 배불리 먹고 남은 조각을 열두 바구니에 차게 거두었으며 먹은 사람은 여자와 어린이 외에 오천 명이나 되었더라” (개역개정)
As evening approached, the disciples came to him and said: 저녁이 되매 제자들이 나아와 이르되
This is a remote place, and it's already getting late: 이곳은 빈 들이요 때도 이미 저물었으니
Send the crowds away, so thay can go to the villages and buy themselves some food: 무리를 보내어 마을에 들어가 먹을 것을 사 먹게 하소서
Jesus replied, they do not need to go away: 예수께서 이르시되 갈 것 없다
You give them something to eat: 너희가 먹을 것을 주라
We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish:여기 우리에게 있는 것은 떡 다섯 개와 물고기 두 마리뿐이니이다
They answered: 제자들이 이르되
Bring them here to me, he said: 그것을 내게 가져오라 하시고
And he directed the people to sit down on the glass: 무리를 명하여 잔디 위에 앉히시고
Talking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven he gave thanks: 떡 다섯 개와 물고기 두 마리를 가지사 하늘을 우러러 축사하시고
and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples: 떡을 떼어 제자들에게 주시매
and disciples gave them to the people: 제자들이 무리에게 주니
They all ate and were very satisfied: 다 배불리 먹고
and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over: 남은 조각을 열두 바구니에 차게 거두었으며
The number of those who ate was about five thousand men: 먹은 사람은 오천 명이나 되었더라
