◎마태복음 9장 35~38절(Matthew 9:35~38)
“Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.
Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.‘”(NIV)
“예수께서 모든 도시와 마을에 두루 다니사 그들의 회당에서 가르치시며 천국 복음을 전파하시며 모든 병과 모든 약한 것을 고치시니라 무리를 보시고 불쌍히 여기시니 이는 그들이 목자 없는 양과 같이 고생하며 기진함이라 이에 제자들에게 이르시되 추수할 것은 많되 일꾼이 적으니 그러므로 추수하는 주인에게 청하여 추수할 일꾼들을 보내 주소서 하라 하시니라”
Jesus went through all the towns and village: 예수께서 모든 도시와 마을에 두루 다니사
teaching in their synagogues: 그들의 회당에서 가르치시며
preaching the good news of the kingdom: 천국 복음을 전파하시며
healing every disease and sickness: 모든 병과 모든 약한 것을 고치시니라
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them: 무리를 보시고 불쌍히 여기시니
because they were harassed and helpless: 이는 그들이 고생하며 기진함이라
like sheep without a shepherd: 목자 없는 양과 같이
Then he said to his disciples: 이에 제자들에게 이르시되
The harvest is plentiful: 추수할 것은 많되
but the workers are few: 일꾼이 적으니
Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore: 그러므로 추수하는 주인에게 청하여
to send out workers into his harvest field: 추수할 일꾼들을 보내 주소서 하라 하시니라
