Here is a graduation ceremony in a university.
여기, 한 대학교의 졸업식이 있습니다.

Suddenly, students started to cry with joy in the middle of the ceremony.
한창 졸업식이 진행되고 있는 중, 갑자기 졸업생들이 눈물을 흘리며 환호성을 질렀습니다.

This is because, the speaker of the ceremony, Robert Smith, Vista’s Founder, Chairman and CEO gave the students a surprising gift.

그의 위대한 선물이란 졸업생 400명에게, 4,000만 달러(한화 478억 원) 상당의 학자금을 상환해 주겠다고 약속한 것입니다.

This is a touching story that happened on May 20th 2019 at the graduation ceremony in Morehouse College in the state of Georgia in Atlanta.
이것이 바로 2019년 5월 20일 미국 조지아주 애틀란타 소재 모어하우스 컬리지의 졸업식에서 일어난 감동 이야기입니다.

Why did he make a big decision like this? This may guess from what David Thomas, the president of Morehouse College said to us.
로버트가 이렇게 통 큰 결정을 내린 이유는 무엇일까요? 모어하우스 컬리지 총장의 메시지를 통해 그 이유를 추측해 볼 수 있을 것 같습니다.

“When you have to service debt, the choices about what you can go do in the world are constrained,” he said. “(Smith's gift) gives them the liberty to follow their dreams, their passions.”
여러분이 학자금 대출을 갚아야만 할 때, 세상에서 여러분이 할 수 있는 것들에 대한 선택들은 제한될 수 있습니다. 스미스의 선물은 졸업생들에게 있어서, 그들의 꿈과 열정을 따라갈 수 있는 자유를 주는 것입니다.

Money itself should not be a real purpose of our life, Rather it can be used as a good way to live a life.
돈 자체가 우리의 진정한 목적이 되어서는 안 되며, 오히려 삶을 살아가기에 좋은 수단으로 쓰여질 수 있을 것입니다.

A servant cannot use what the owner has as one pleases, we also have no right to use the money given by the Lord as we please.
종이 주인의 것을 함부로 사용할 수 없듯이, 하나님이 주신 돈을 우리가 마음대로 사용할 권리는 없습니다.

What I believe about the true value of money is as follows.
제가 생각하는 돈의 가치는 이렇습니다.

The owner of money is God, the Father, Almighty.
